LaseringLow level laser therapy helps me to make your dog’s massage and acupressure session even better!

The laser uses light at specific wavelengths to accelerate the healing process.  When cells absorb light energy, a series of events in the cell begin to increase intracellular metabolism and stimulate healing.  Compromised cells respond better than healthy cells to photochemical reactions; laser therapy enhances wound healing and tissue regeneration and reduces acute inflammation.

Laser light has a beneficial effect on nerve cells which helps to block pain signals to the brain, making laser therapy ideal for helping acute and chronic pain sufferers.

The laser is a cold laser; no heat is generated by its use.  The system is approved by the U.S. FDA for use on animals as a Class IIIb laser and has been imported into New Zealand specifically for my practice.
