Pumpkins are the go-to vegetable for bowel health in dogs because they are rich in soluble fibre.  They also contain antioxidants, vitamins and minerals and are low in fat.

This product by OmegaFlex, made with New Zealand grown Kabocha pumpkins, provides you all the benefits of pumpkin without any cooking hassles.  Keep a pack on hand for when that next unexpected bout of diarrhoea happens; keep a pack in your emergency supplies, too.  Sprinkle it on top of your dog’s food, or stir in in.  It can also be dissolved in water to make a puree.

I’ve tested this product on Sox, the Poster Dog of The Balanced Dog.  Sox has inflammatory bowel disease and benefits from a high fibre diet.  For this reason, I’m happy to recommend this product and stock it for my customers.
