Nail clipping is one of the main triggers for fear, anxiety and stress in our dogs.  Fear of hurting the dog and/or hitting the quick is the number one reason why many owners do not clip the nails often enough.  Paw care is essential.

I recommend nail grinders instead of clippers because they don’t pinch and the risk of hitting the quick is greatly reduced.  “Little and often” is the name of the game when using a nail grinder.  I got so tired of referring my clients to other sources, that I have imported stock myself of these handy little rechargeables.  All you need is the USB port on your computer or power bank to recharge the device.
